or you can...
If your favourite things include a bonfire on a late Autumn afternoon, then lapsang might just be your thing. It is a full bodied tea, normally consumed black, and has a smokiness unlike any other tea, due to being steamed or 'smoked' over hot pinewoods.
It is possibly among the first of many Chinese teas we encountered here in Britain, and once we tried it, we never looked back. Today there are fans of lapsang souchong the world over, and we thought it would be crazy not to embrace such an icon of the tea world.
If it is kept for too long in storage lapsang can lose its smokiness, so ours is imported in small, fresh batches.
